What is your behavior policy?
A safe and supportive environment is most conducive to music learning. Students unable to follow classroom rules are given non-verbal and verbal reminders about their choices. Students who continue to misbehave are asked to sit briefly on the "observation deck" where they can observe appropriate behavior and reflect on their choices. If students continue to interrupt instruction their parents or caregivers will be notified. Upper elementary students will be asked to fill out a behavior reflection form to later review and return with a parent or caregiver signature.
